چکیده

Abstract Oil-impregnated paper is the most widely used insulating material for power transformers. Power transformers inevitably generate a lot of heat during operation. Among them, thermal aging one main forms paper. In this study, ab initio molecular dynamics method based on density functional theory to simulate cracking mechanism cellobiose under transient high temperature. The results show that relatively stable at 343 K, motility enhanced 1,800 starts decompose 2,400 and new characteristic products are formed 3,000 K. include CO, H 2 O, CH 3 OH, , 4 . Selection of Optimal Polymerization Degree and Force Field in the Molecular Dynamics Simulation of Insulating Paper Cellulose

To study the microscopic thermal aging mechanism of insulating paper cellulose through molecular dynamics simulation, it is important to select suitable DP (Degree of Polymerization) and force field for the cellulose model to shorten the simulation time and obtain correct and objective simulation results. Here, the variation of the mechanical properties and solubility parameters of models with ...

Dynamics of an insulating Skyrmion under a temperature gradient.

We study the Skyrmion dynamics in thin films under a temperature gradient. Our numerical simulations show that both single and multiple Skyrmions in a crystal move towards the high temperature region, which is contrary to particle diffusion. Noticing a similar effect in the domain wall motion, we employ a theory based on magnon dynamics to explain this counterintuitive phenomenon. Unlike the te...

Properties of Mineral Insulating Oils in Service

The infrastructure of the electricity grid and super grid system in the hitherto industrialized world was to a large extent built up in the decades following World War II with a peak in investments around 1960-1980. This means that the flotilla of power transformers is now starting to reach projected lifetime of around 40 years. During the last couple of decades there has also been an ongoin...

Atom manipulation on an insulating surface at room temperature.

Atomic manipulation enables us to fabricate a unique structure at the atomic scale. So far, many atomic manipulations have been reported on conductive surfaces, mainly at low temperature with scanning tunnelling microscopy, but atomic manipulation on an insulator at room temperature is still a long-standing challenge. Here we present a systematic atomic manipulation on an insulating surface by ...
